Parenting Resources That Sound Like a Friend, Not a Textbook
Most parenting content online falls into two buckets: overly polished influencer content where everything looks perfect, or medical-grade advice that reads like a hospital pamphlet. Neither of those help when your toddler is having a meltdown in the cereal aisle and you're wondering if you're doing any of this right.
Degen Dad is the third option. Real advice from a real dad who is actively in the middle of it. Two daughters, ages 4 and 2. Some days are great. Some days I google "is it normal to want to hide in the bathroom" and the answer is always yes.
Every resource on this site is built to be actually useful. Tips you can filter by how hard they are and what age your kid is. Checklists you can check off on your phone while standing in a store. Guides that start with a one-sentence summary because sometimes that's all you need.
The voice is casual because parenting is casual. It's happening in your kitchen and your car and at 3 AM in a dark room. It's not a TED talk. It's a group chat for dads who are figuring it out as they go — which is all of us.
We're All Fumbling Through It
Nobody hands you a manual when they hand you a baby. You figure it out one diaper blowout at a time. This site exists so you can learn from dads who've already made the mistakes — and maybe feel a little less alone in the process. New content drops regularly. Bookmark whatever you need and come back when the next crisis hits.
